It’s been a wild year for Vancouver’s real estate market.
Houses sold for millions over the list price in hours (yes, hours) and the benchmark price for a detached home in the area hit $1.2 million by the end of 2015.
A study revealed that 70 per cent of the city’s millennials can’t afford to start a family because of housing expenses.
The #DontHave1Million campaign was sparked, and protests broke out downtown calling for more affordable housing — but prices continued going up, up, up.
Sometimes, things got so crazy that all we could do was laugh.
